Crowdfunding Summary
TOOWA2 Feature Film "侵蝕 -Erosion- "
~ Summary ~
A previous shortfilm ”ENSEMBLE” made by the expression technique ”character’s emotion is expressed by the tone color that the musicians played” was screened in Festival de Cannes and some film festival. So, we are preparing with the proposal that reboots “ENSEMBLE” as a feature film.
Although
the shortfilm’s shooting was only studio, feature film will shoot
major scenes in the Japanese forest and we are planning to change
“costumes” and “the configuration of the story” to
allegorical settings.
Therefore
we launched funding on crowdfunding platform"Motion Gallery" now.

*CHAPTER1
Within the deep forest, there lives a small community. The people of the community channel their energy into his or her own "player,” a device that expresses their feelings. There lived a girl within that community. Her name was MIYABI. She couldn’t control “player” well. She has some friends called THEO, LARA, and Mika as a younger sister. They weren’t also good at treating PLAYER.
There is a party and it has a chance that they can perform their own technique. There is a girl standing out especially in that party.
Her name is LUMINA. She is the same generation with MIYABI but could use PLAYER freely. MIYABI and her friends are always just looking it. One day a traveler came to the community. His name was KAROUJA. KAROUJA had a new skill of “WORD.” He charmed MIYABI with a way to express oneself without relying on PLAYER.
So MIYABI told him she wants to learn to use “WORD”.
But MIYABI couldn’t be understood it by anybody before the journey. MIYABI and Theo, Lara left with KAROUJA from the community.
*CHAPTER2
MIKA stayed in the community, selected to treat PLAYER to live there. MIKA got to handle it well enough to communicate with LUMINA equally. LUMINA forgive her mind MIKA who communicates as person of life-size. One day, The PLAYERs of MIYABI and THEO come back to the community. Although MIKA consults LUMINA, LUMINA shows her dissatisfying facial expression. LUMINA couldn’t forgive MIYABI.
After a while, KAROUJA came back to the community again, however MIYABI and her friends aren’t there. MIKA asked him about MIYABI. So Mika couldn’t listen to his word for some reason.
At that night, Kite approaches KAROUJA.
KITE says KAROUJA “How long are you going to stay here?”
KAROUJA says “You began to speak the words, finally.”
KITE says KAROUJA “WORD doesn’t need in here! How long are you going to come back here?”
Actually, KITE has learned “WORD” with KAROUJA before.
However he thought that WORD doesn’t need to community’s people. KAROUJA says KITE “But some of community’s people changed that I came back here, right? MIYABI and her friends also come back soon.” KAROUJA left from community after that.
MIYABI and her friends came back after a while.
They were not able to use PLAYER and emits BEEP sound from their mouth just like KAROUJA.
MIKA and community people are upset their appearance.
MIYABI tell MIKA and community people to learn “WORD”.
On the other hand, LUMINA couldn’t communicate with the people excited about “WORD”. MIKA was concerned about LUMINA’s attitude, however she starts to learn “WORD”.
The training to learn WORD spreads to community.
*CHAPTER3
LUMINA was away from them, played tone color with PLAYER by the river alone. She started to make a new community with PLAYERS of MIYABI and THEO that was as isolated as her. Also, KITE tries to make people stop training but the community’s people didn’t stop that. One day, the incident happened.
PLAYERS who are near training people start to disappear, community’s people didn’t move like doll. Eventually it appeared in MIKA’s body, she collapsed like community people.
*CHAPTER4
In the community. Most training people collapsed like dolls.
Anybody couldn’t do anything in front of them. Some people consult to MIYABI "Let’s leave from this community."
At that night, MIYABI meets LUMINA in the forest of community. LUMINA gives MIYABI anger. Next day, MIYABI decides to leave the community with the surviving people. There was no one to see them again this time and their player were just looking at them lonesome.
